When this Corvette was new it was professionally converted into a convertible using all factory components.  With GM not building convertibles at that time this was the only way to have a new Corvette convertible and it looks 100% factory including an auxiliary GM hardtop.  This time capsule is a one-owner car with just 5,400 miles since new. The original owner lived in Michigan and was involved in the automotive industry, through his connections the car was a courtesy car and was enjoyed by Zora and Elfi Duntov on numerous occasions.  This Corvette is highly original right down to the Goodyear tires and makes a nice addition to any collection.
