This beautiful 1963 Buick Skylark Convertible is a 3-owner car and has been in Colorado since new.  Sold new in Boulder, Colorado where it was only driven 96,363 miles sine new and always cared for.  Being in the dry climate of Colorado truly preserved this car from corrosion.

This Skylard was restored by its current owner who is a Buick specialist, absolutely no corners were cut and was restored using the best of the best parts and labor.  Although its slightly a resto-mod, much of the car retains its originality.  It's the original color of Bronze Mist with Saddle interior and a white toop.  The body and paint is very nice with straight lines and beautiful finish.  All the brightwork is professionally refinished, the stainless is polished and fully restored along with all the chrome plating.  The glass is also very nice with no blemishes.  A ew white convertible toop was installed after the top frame and power components were restored.  The wheels are 17" Billet Specialities with 215/50 front tires and 225/50 rears giving the car a great look.

Under the hood is impressive with a totally rebuilt all-aluminum, Land Rover 3.5L (215 ci) pumping out a solid 225hp.  The polished aluminum intake, finned Offenhauser rocker covers and air cleaner give this little hot rod a very cool and period look.  Other upgrades include; MSD ignition, oversized aluminum radiator, power steering coated headers and modern air conditioning.  The overall installation and wiring under the hood are very professional and clean.

This car is a factory 4-speed and has retained that since new.  The transmission, shifter and clutch are all like new and function smoothly.

The undercarriage is sanitary and has been detailed to a driver quality level with all of the suspension components new or rebuilt.  The exhaust is a custom built, all stainless system with mild mufflers.  The fuel tank is a custom stainless-steel tank.  The brakes have been upgraded to a Wilwood master cylinder and front discs, for superb braking power.  The interior is very original and has been carefully restored.  The only non-original part is the steering wheel, which is a nice wood wheel.  The dash is beautiful with nice detail.  All the carpet, door panels and seat covers are correct factory materials.  The overall interior is very nice and shows well.  It is also equipped with power windows. This is a good running and nice driving Skylark convertible that is ready to enjoy.  The level of this restoration could not be reproduced for our asking price.
